Seagate Development Group is set to begin construction on a 5,140-square-foot office, flex and retail space for Mainscape landscaping company on Treeline Avenue in Fort Myers. The company has started site mobilization, with a complete demolition to commence next week. This will follow a reconfiguration of the space for the Mainscape’s updated needs, including metal framing and drywall, insulation, as well as installation of acoustical ceilings, doors and a partition folding door system for the conference room. The scope of work also accommodates painting, flooring, trimming and millwork, making modifications to the electric and HVAC systems, reconfiguring the storefronts, adding exterior stucco, reroofing, resurfacing asphalt, as well as repainting the engineers building, CONEX boxes and signage. Additionally, crews will build a temporary modular unit to house Mainscape during construction, which is slated for completion in the first quarter of 2023.
